Just today I noticed that Zaily's ears are uneven, where they weren't yesterday. The left one looks normal & stands up halfway, but the right one flops totally over still. Is that normal, or does it mean there's something wrong with the floppy ear? She's acting normal, she's not scratching at that ear or anything, but it just doesn't seem normal to me. Do their ears sometimes stand up at different times or something?

puppy ears do all sorts of crazy things.
one can be down and one up, both up, both down, etc.

So it could just be that one is starting to stiffen up faster than the other?

That's what Bella's ears used to look like. Her right ear still flops sometimes, but for the most part, she has beautiful rose ears.

your puppy is prolly teething their ears change during that stage ( or you know its around the brend) start to massage them if you want a nice set

Curl them into a nice "rose" shape and massage them that way. My Jazzy had one floppy ear for awhile, too. It was cute, but she outgrew it.

What if the ears sit straight up at 7 months old on a pit bull? Will they eventually fall over? They're sort of down after she's been sleeping.

I wouldn't tape them, just massage them. You can tell a lot about a dog's mood from their ears.

You should have seen Bella's antenna ears when she met Remy! I love silly ears.
