hello all new to the site.recently lost my good friend to lymphoma, last saturday in fact he was a bullmastiff 5 and a half years young.hope to post a few pics soon, was always told he was big for even his size, big lug was about 175.in upstate ny and didnt realize how many of the bully breads are out there every day up for adoption or waiting in rescues.have poured over literature and found out lymphoma is extremely prevalent in the breed.does anyone else have anything to share?is it just as prevalent in the ab's or olde e's?well am looking around the site, just getting used to it. not really ready to adopt yet but its unconscienable to let a dog be put down when i have a great home.feel free to say hello.

hi

didnt mean its prevalent, what im finding out and am told, its very common in alot of breeds but unusually high in bullmastiffs and boxers.not to go off on a tangent but have also found out some chemicals used in dogfood to keep it clumped have been banned for human consumption for quite some time do to its carcinogenic qualities.
