I was just wondering what you guys think about the Blue Buffalo dog food? http://www.bluebuff.com/products/dogs_puppies.shtml

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone else using it really. I was going to get Royal Canin Bulldog for my English Bulldog pup, but the guy at PetSmart thought that this food was "SOOO much better" for some reason. What do you guys think??

I tried Chapps on this food...it wasn't horrible, but wasn't amazing. It's a higher quality food, but definitly doesn't rate up there with the Canidae, Fromm, Natures Variety etc etc

I still have the bag unopened and am thinking about possibly returning it. I looked around a bit and it seems like some people really love it (mostly all non-bulldog breeds though), but others are saying that it really gave their dogs the poops, and a whole lot of gas. I know that it rates high, but there seems to be a lot of controversy about it.

It's not a bad food from my own criteria. Too bad it has salt added, and added twice (as salt and in the dried sea kelp), but otherwise I don't see why not.
