Cooper has ZERO interest in Nyla bones, if you give him one he takes it to be polite and immediately drops it on the ground. He likes rawhides, hooves, and Booda bones but everything I've read says they can cause gastrointestinal issues. We never let him have these unless he is in the room with us. What else is there? Am I over thinking this? Is it just a matter of all things in moderation?

I got one of these things when he was 8 weeks old and he still has it, he has not been able to destroy it and all you do is put some treats or dry kibble in it and it will keep him busy for quite a while chasing it around and pouncing on it for the treats or kibble to fall out of the hole...

also they make one that is blue and round that you put big disk treats in but with Titus he figured out how to pop the treat out of the holder and it was only a matter of minutes before it was gone...lol...you can find that one here

Ooh - I've seen those Everlasting balls at Petsmart. They really are sturdy?

The green ball and the blue one are both sturdy Titus has had both of them ever since we got him and he has not been able to tear any pieces off of them at all, and believe me he has tried...like I said the blue one that you put the large treat disk into he figured out how to bite it on the edge just enough and it would release the whole treat disk, so I stopped buying the disks cause once he gets them out hey are gone in like 2 minutes flat. But the actuall toys themselves are very durable I would have to say those and the black kongs are the only toys that he has not killed...

You can never go wrong with a Kong, but if your dog likes some flavor, I highly recommend whole, unprocessed beef bones. They last for hours and really encourage a good chew. I also like bully sticks (although, even the largest sizes don't last too long for a bully)

I use bowling balls as well, and http://www.jefferspet.com has a whole line of indestructable zoo animal toys!

For a fun time, give your dog cardboard boxes or an old phonebook to shred..it's a chore to clean up, but it's good harmless fun!
