I have tryed to buy a french bulldog...

first one dyed in one week...it was week..and made me wery sad...i have payed 1000 eu (standard price)
the dog had no papers...but i somehow got a new dog form same person...it surwived...we call him Jaq :)
hi is 2 years old now..

but all other french bulldogs have shorter legs ...so we think Jaq is not even a bulldog...we are very happy with him no matter if he turns out to be a cat :) ...but I would like to konw if any of fourm members knows anything about longer legs in french bulldog ? or is it just Jaqw :)

This s a very strange story! Why would you take home a puppy that is weak (and mayby sick)? And before you go out and get a bulldog, you might want to get lots and lots of info about the breed. So how is it possible that you come home with a dog that doesn't look like a bulldog!?!

Some people just do not know and just do not care, not educated enough to check all options and jump into buying what comes on their plate first.

Maybe she got him because he was weak, appearing to be extra gentle and loving, w/out differentiating.

Either way, dont know much about your breed, but maybe he is going through a gangly stage. We called Dixie a deer when she went through that stage, later the body will fill out. Making the legs not look as long.

Your link is not working for me either.

Im sure he is a good boy no matter what he turns out like.

Good luck, and hope he stays well.

Did you get him from a pet store AKA puppymill?

That would be why he died so quickly and that would be why they had another one so quickly..

:(

It's a shame but even some so called breeders are actually buying and reselling puppymill pups as their own.
