He definately has the "pitbull eyes"...but I want to agree with you that lab would be my other guess. That first pic almost makes him look like he has great dane in him. Either way he's one handsome boy! :wink:

Do those of you with mixed breed dogs of unknown heritage ever think you've gotten your dog's mix somewhat figured out until you look at him or her at a weird angle or take a picture from a weird angle? That's how I am with Remy. We think he's a pit bull/lab mix, but sometimes we just have no idea.
Like in this picture...I'm not sure what he looks like here!

His profile shots always make me thing Dobie/pit/lab mix. Long slender nose and high cheek bones.

Of course, lips, ears and coloring are different - but a dobie in the mix could account for Remy's black and rust markings.

My first thought was great dane too...I can see Dobie also. Pit, yes. Hmmmmmmmmmm.....just a sweet dog of many flavors.
