At that age, you can give her hard food lightly moistened with warm water (honestly i'de avoid giving her canned food but thats JMO - hard food= less messy clean-up if she messes in the house). There is conflicting advise of puppy food vs. adult - so go with the best quality of which ever you can afford. Personally - my 11 week old has been eating adult food since she was about 7 weeks old. She's on Nutro Lamb and Rice and she's doing very well on it. We don't moisten it for her either (tried it and she didn't want anything to do with it). She prefers to eat is dry. Maybe a tablespoon of non-fat plain yogurt once a day mixed in but otherwise it's dry.

Ok just what i needed to know, i wasnt sure if good quality kibble would be enough nutrition for the young pup. At 4 weeks some nursing is still done if the mom is around.
